Rockingham:

"After a hard fought battle in the 2008 Mini Challenge championship, Jack managed to secure 2nd overall in the championship. At the final round at Rockingham, Jack took almost maximum points away from his rival Martin Depper in a last bid to clinch the championship title finishing a mere 10 points behind his rival by winning all three races and taking 2 fastest laps at the championship finale.
In qualifying, Jack was almost half a second faster than his nearest rival, 2002 champion Steve Meli. However, Jack was to start second for the second and third race due to him losing out by two thousands of a second in both from Steve Meli. Championship rival Depper was to start on the second row for all his races.

Jack led the race by nearly 3 seconds and appeared to be untouchable by taking maximum points, securing the fastest lap and starting from pole.
The second race of the day was a repeat of the second apart from Jack starting in second. However, Jack was leading by turn one and managed to pull away similar to the first race and secure the top step of the podium once again with Depper stood next to him finishing second place once agian.
After a few drops of rain, the third race was a bit slippery at the start, however, Jack who is an instructor at Rockingham knew the track inside out and managed to find the grip whilst romping away at the start and led the race by 4 seconds from a lonely Depper in second. However, after Jack's best efforts, the gap was still 10 points between them but an outstanding hatrick for Jack
.
